Podcast – Interview with Chuck Huber (AAC2018)

Next on our Another Anime Convention 2018 interview list is the indubitably amazing Chuck Huber.

In the realm of anime and videos games, Chuck is is an American voice actor, ADR director and ADR script writer primarily known for his work for Funimation and OkraTron 5000. He has voiced hundreds of characters in anime, including Hiei in YuYu Hakusho, Stein in Soul Eater, Shou Tucker in Full Metal Alchemist, Ash in Black Butler, Reever in D. Gray Man, Yuichi in Initial D., Melt in The Tower of Druaga, Eric Nishijima in Darker Than Black, and hundreds more, along with voices in such video games as Borderlands II, Ghostbusters, The Walking Dead, Æon Flux, DBZ, Smite, and more.

He has been a stage actor for over 20 years. He has been featured at Chicago’s Steppenwolf and Goodman Theaters. He was the Director/Writer of Arbor Day – The Musical. He was the producer, co-writer and co-star of the bi-lingual feature Fragility of Seconds, which took the top prize at the Houston International Film Festival.

In addition to all of this, he has also been a TV and film actor, guest starring in TV roles on NBC, FOX, and CBS. You can see some of his acting work as Hugh Jameison in the movie Parkland (produced by Tom Hanks and starring Billy Bob Thornton and Paul Giamatti), as Russian bad guy Colonel Kashoid in AmeriGeddon and as the demon Baal in The Crossroads of Hunter Wilde (both of which were directed by Mike Norris, son of Chuck Norris), as Dr. McCoy in Star Trek Continues, as Dean Hansen on Season 2 of American Crime on ABC, and as Detective Swinton in the upcoming feature film The Harrowing.

He was born on May 8, 1971 and currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife, artist Jessica von Braun.
