One of the things we like to do in our spare time at ScoTori is read comics. Last night we drew from a random pile of comics to read and review.
Empire Uprising #1, by IDW Publishing, was the winner this time around. We both took turns reading and after a brief discussion we gave this issue a 3 out of 5 Stars. We believe that while the artwork was solid and the story world seems well thought out, the lack of a central character in this first issue made it more difficult for us to get into.
